Yes. The simplest solution is usually the right one.
Let's apply that to the most complex question known to man, where none of the solutions even resemble simplicity?
Which is more likely, that the universe sprang into existence, or that a deity that knew all of the information in the universe AND then created the universe sprang into existence? I find it easier to believe that just the universe was created. That's already enough of an improbability.
