you're overreacting. clearly, this thread is evidence of the admins dealing with matadoresque spam.

i dont think i've ever had a single conversation with you, and it wasn't even me who banned you so i dunno what your problem with me is. especially since i'm the one dealing with the shit you're complaining about

My apologies then, I was mis-informed that you were the person who banned me. I hold no ill-will towards you if you were not the person who did it.

However, i dont see how I abused the votekick. He is a KNOWN spammer, people were complaining. I votekicked him, it passed... he came back, and i thought nothing of it. He started spamming again, and I votekicked him again. He came back and I again thought nothing of it other then "he better not start spamming again or I will vote kick him again" and guess what? He was STILL spamming! I would not have had to keep votekicking him if the freaking admins did something about it other than ibby just saying "just mute him" which is a cop-out excuse and a sign that he is just being lazy. I DID mute him, and then i muted him again when the map changed because he was still spamming, and again the next map for the same reason... the point is, I did what I did because ibby or whoever was in charge that day on that server was doing a piss poor job of dealing with it other than to be lazy with a "so what" response of "just mute him".

So you tell me? Am I over reacting or would it have been different if the admins had done what they were suppose to, to begin with? Would things have played out different is the admins had done the right thing and banned the spammer or better yet, gagged him, or even just kicked him? The point remains that I got the boot for something that everyone voted for 3 times IN A ROW! How is that abuse?
