I'm curious how these potential spy updates will work when players are watching their stats and see a spy fake die but no kill register with points in the corner of their screen. I don't think that Valve is accounting for the hlstatsx watchers with the updates.

Yea, I think some issues might arise with hlstatsx on update night.
We've had a spy fake death plugin for a few months now, but I had to use an older version that didn't show a kill up in the corner because even though the death was fake hlstatsx was reading it as a legitimate kill. So you could drop a corpse and the last person to do damage to you could get up 25 points without even killing you. Which reminds me I need to go ahead and remove that plugin before the update.

I actually use the sandman on some maps since it IS fun to !BONK! people just for the annoyance factor.

That's the only one I will equip but it's a rare occasion for me because I like being able to double jump for evasion.
