I'm pretty sure a pubstar is someone that does good in pubs but terrible in league play.

close but no cigar....a pubstar is someone who tops the scoreboards in public servers all the time, but never even goes beyond that...always claims to be in a clan and "working towards building a scrim worthy team" but never does...they will play for a long time and quit the game for good without out playing a proper format league game (6v6, 8v8, or 9v9 in tf2)...Also most of what you guys would consider pubstars in tf2 are the ones that run nothing but demoman with kritz medic on 32 man servers where its almost impossible to miss with those 395 damage winbombs.

Actually, I was right on the money. Because most of them DO try league play but then find out how terrible they are at it and thier pubstar "clans" collapse upon themselves.
