I buy my own toys throughout the year, so I probably won't get anything much, but it's fun to watch the wife & kids open stuff. They're both getting Nintendo DSes (that's a painful pluralization), I got the wife a 32GB 2nd gen iPod Touch. Me, I spent my toy money this year on a new board, processor, and memory for my rig. A little cheaper than Hell-met or DF's choices, but it's made a big difference. I went from:
DFI LanParty NF4 Ultra-D (didn't need SLI)
AMD 4200+ X2 939
2GB DDR
To:
ASRock P45R2000-WiFi (still don't need SLI)
Intel Q9550 Core 2
4GB DDR2
It's really surprising how much better TF2 runs on the new kit with the same 8800GTS 320MB video card.
