the game is shit.

the subreddit is practically dead already.


the game sold somethign like 6 million copies, and 2 weeks after release, a blizzard employee was quoted as saying that they have "thousands" of players

so more than 5/6ths of the people that bought the game had abandoned it after two weeks.

the pseudo-difficulty of "omg super hard" inferno, the garbage story, the enormous plotholes, and the painfully obvious expansion set-ups together with the dumbed down mechanics was the demise of the game.


there was hardly any innovation in terms of monster design. i'd say 85% of them were recycled from D2, and some of them even used the exact same sound files.

act 1 was nothing but a frivolous cash grab designed to play on people's nostalgia, and act 2 wasn't much better (desert setting with sewers and a temple? never seen that before)
