I used to believe that too, but we had a discussion on another forum recently and found that isn't really the case; the price difference when you compare 1:1 hardware prices and the cost of an OS is negligible.

But it has 802.11 built in; I set it up for my clients to use at the office, and they use it similarly to a Blackberry in the corporate world, getting email and such.
I'm no huge fan of Apple. The only thing I've ever bought from them was an iPod. I'm also no big nationalist neocon guy, but I don't think our country is in a position to be bashing any American company that innovates as well as Apple does in these times.
