So if making a demo proves nothing I guess I'll wait for an admin to deign this thread worthy of a response.

I'm not sure what more of a response you are looking for.

Renamon reported you for hacking and the first admin to respond to it investigated it. If you were banned, the responding admin either:

a. personally witnessed you hacking/cheating
b. received a demo as evidence of you hacking/cheating

We don't just go around banning people based solely on the word of another player.

Also, taking a demo now to prove your innocence makes no sense. If you were using cheats, you could just turn them off and do a demo. You would need a demo of you playing on that date, time and server in question in order to prove anything. If you have a demo of that, I'm sure it would be considered as evidence towards your case.

If you feel your ban was unjustified, I would advise privately contacting the banning admin and Drunken F00l and explaining your situation along with any solid evidence you have that this was some type of mistake/misunderstanding.

However, if the quote below is true:

then Renamon also needs to know that abusing the Contact Admin form will result in a ban. It clearly says so on the form and here: http://www.sourceop.com/modules.php?name...pic&t=1047

Reporting someone for hacking "as a joke" is not funny, wastes the admins' time and will get you permanently banned.
