This screamed to me "I have no place in any authoritative position please remove my moderator status."
But this also says to me that it isn't entirely his fault. Most people given free and unquestionable reign of any community will show signs of abuse of that power. It's just that I've yet to see this guy be mentioned without it being about him banning somebody simply for stating an opinion that contrasted his, and I have seen absolutely nothing even hinting that he has to answer for anything he does.
Moderators like these are also the reason that SPUF is widely regarded as a shit-hole, they actively ban anybody attempting intelligent conversation while letting shit-posters slide. There is a huge sociology discourse I could give as to why this happens, but the problem in its entirety hardly relevant to this one moderator and the SPUF are beyond help.
Also I last looked at this case when this thread was almost brand new, so his current behavior could contrast his past behavior greatly. It would be welcome news to me.
While Eram may surely be one of those mods that ban rather quickly if you act up, he usually(from my past experience in questioning my own infractions) to reason if reason is given.
While this only reflects my experience with the person known as Eram, all the complaints I personally have read on SPUF about him are unreasonable, such as blaming Eram for certain rules, when he is a VOLUNTEER moderator and does not make rules.
I may seem like an Eram fanboy here but what I detest are liars who make up false claims to disguise their breaking of the rules(such as the admittedly ridiculous bump rule). Rules are there to be read, the moderator shouldnt have to explain himself to people and if his descisions were so terrible, VALVe would have parted ways with him long ago.
