are those of you experiencing this issue using "mat_queue_mode 2" ?
i have heard that using that cvar fixes the issue you are describing. try it out if you don't use it currently.
alternatively, the following may help:
- try running tf2 with an older version of directx (use launch option -dxlevel followed by the directx version you want to use, no periods)
- try running tf2 with -safe as a launch option
- try turning on developer mode as a launch option using -dev
- turn off bloom, hrd, anti-aliasing, etc and update your video drivers
im assuming its something specific to YOU, only because that's the only thing i can help troubleshoot with. its worth giving it a shot... if i had to play tf2 the way that you describe, i would be rage quitting every 10 minutes
