It's in Valve's best interest to leave trading alone. They've made more money off of The Mann. Co Store than selling games on Steam. And the MCS has only been out for a year. And if they make some bazaar police system, people will quit. They will lose money.

Only the sharks and hijackers would leave. Which means they'd make more with a community that isn't a hive of scum and villainy.

Hmm, wrong.

There's this sort of magic to trading. It's called freedom, you can do whatever you wanna do. I'm sure your every day trader would hate to be in trading when there are regulations.
