And well like a few other people I have encountered, they are ok with trading for a bit less so they dont have to wait around for more. Some people just want something they want and like playing the game, and could give a shit about trading. Granted, I try not to go past the 50% mark cuz well I try to sleep well at night and dont need to ruin my rep. That being said, some people do consent to a trade for less. I think lying or deceiving or offering something thats essentially garbage is wrong (I think the hard line has to be less than 25% of true avg value of item) , but I think you should ask the person if they were ok with what transpired, cuz some people really aren't looking to get "the most" out of an unusual or what not. I had with an unusual handle sell me one cheap cuz he just was tired of waiting for no offers and the mockery of having an ugly handy handle. What should I say, NO, u cant thats a 2 bud hat, I can not give you this 1 bud? I think the community needs to formalize a definition AND also ask said "victim" if they would still do trade after learning real value. Do keep in mind that time is money. Sorry for wall of text, enter button not working. TL;DR verision: Would person still consent to trade if learning true value? Standard sharking definition needed.
