Starting this Monday (Dec 12th, 2011) timeout period for early bumping is going to be 4 hours up form the current 2 hours. To Be clear, that means if your thread is locked for early bumping, you will now have to wait 4 hours before reposting any new threads. And since everyone here follows the bump rules anyhow, should not affect anyone here.
