Steam support always takes a retarded amount of time to respond, but if the question is unusual they can actually be pretty helpful. Things like "TF2 crashes" will get copypasta responses, but if it's something like "I lost a shitload of items because of a Steam Cloud glitch", they can be surprisingly helpful.
