"In addition to the three unlockable Pyro weapons, we've made a significant addition to the base Pyro flamethrower. By hitting the alt-fire key, the Pyro is able to produce a blast of compressed air that knocks enemies away, and redirects enemy projectiles. It�s a highly versatile tool, allowing Pyros to get away from nearby enemies after igniting them, to kill enemy soldiers with their own rockets, or to separate enemy Medics from their healing targets. In particular, it allows a skilled Pyro to contain an enemy invulnerability push, and even to separate the Medic completely if the surrounding terrain supports it."

"The second Pyro unlockable is The Backburner. This flamethrower is built for the Pyro who likes to ambush their opponents. It removes the compression blast capability, instead guaranteeing critical hits whenever it's used on an opponent from behind. To aid in survivability, it grants the Pyro an extra fifty health."

Good job on the links Kaylee.

I love the backburner the best already, it's so badass that you can get crits from behind now, makes the pyro feel kinda like a damn spy now, lol, run on dudes when they least expect it and bam, 3 of them are dead without knowing if done right and in a straight line.

The flare gun is a great addition as well and would be used in great ways i'm sure. Snipers now will be lit up alot more often now Wink

As for the new axe, i don't know, it's okay yes, but at the same time, when i really think about it, the best way it can be used effectively is if 3 people do this outside spawn or somewhere with alot of people. You take 2 pyros and one medic, have a pyro ubered with the axe and another pyro go rush ahead first and light hella dudes on fire, either getting killed and as a sacrifice or just trying to stay alive while igniting as many people as possible, then as soon as he's starting to light people on fire the medic and other pyro with the new axe equiped, uber and take out a shitload of people. But besides that i will have to try the new axe for myself cause right now it seems like a hard task to pull off by just simply lighting guys on fire then switching to the axe.

Air-blast sounds extremely dumb.

I want to know if ricocheted rockets do 100% damage to the owner.

I'm pretty excited about the Backburner. Maybe my suicide rushes won't be as suicidal anymore.
