you can make tf2 run on 2 cores its something valve put into a fix awhile back but its not stable with every machine and i have seen naquadria test it on his and it really doesnt like it when he changes video settings while in game.

The "fix" was released May 21, and it was really for crashes that occured on mapchange or level transitions. I think for now TF2 can only be threaded for dual core, not quad core. \0= But I'm no expert by any means.

ok update, larz has a q6600 and clames all his games(same games as me) work fine, so its not a quad core problem?!?! :evil: , PLEASE HELP ME, anything, even a stupid segestion

I have a Q660 quad core cpu and yeah all my games run fine with the occasional small problem now and then. But i have no clue if their using more than one core or not.

mine runs fine only using the one core... i have framerate issues because im using a Geforce 8600...

i'm on the 680i and I have problems with TF2. I'm throwing in a second 8600 in a few weeks...
