a huge part of the problem is just inflexibility in zvt early to midgame

dull, boring, and the terran pretty much always knows what you will be doing early on

for the most part these problems aren't TOO visible at lower levels of play except that zerg is still rather boring. my assumption is blizz'll do something about it eventually.

til then play terran or protoss and save yourself the headache of zvt

Look at the team liquid forums they have some very helpful guides for pretty much every race. And actually early tvz isn't bad for diamond league matches, what generally happens is midgame-late game the zerg gets killed by thor, siege tanks etc. the ultralisk buffs helped with this but it's still not enough. If you like zerg play zerg it's more about experience than anything so even if you are getting steam rolled you will get it eventually(and if you need help the team liquid forums have some very good guides).

And yes hellmet that is fucking awesome.

Zerg ARE weak, honestly the only unit we own that doesn't require 24/7 babysitting is the ultralisk and the broodlords. Along with having some of the most difficult macro in the game combined with terran having the easiest macro and micro in the game. Protoss are the only races that are actually well balanced. I'm not saying zerg is incredibly underpowered it's just so much fucking micro and macro. And this isn't including the fact that zerg have to be very well scouted to succeed against good players.
