I really enjoy playing on your 24/7 Goldrush server (74.55.49.245). However, I've noticed lately that the server is lagging pretty bad at times, almost to the point that it is unplayable. Is there a chance that you could look into this? Myself and others that frequent the server would greatly appreciate it.

Nope.
I checked out the lagging a couple nights ago and a restart seemed to fix it. I'll try restarting again and see what happens. I think the issue is Valve's and performance slowly degrading over time. I'm not sure why this server seems to get the worst of it. Something about goldrush? Not sure yet.
In the meantime, if a restart helps, I'll look into making a daily restart.

I played for a bit today and didn't see anything that was unplayable. Have you played since I restarted it Monday?

Yes, I played last night and did not experience near as much lag as before. I am located in the midwest, ping was around 100.

Talking about server lag, the 2fort instaspawn server lags alot as well. Sometimes its playable but other times its a slideshow.

I know all the new updates are putting alot of stress on the server but if they could be restarted at least once a week, this could help the lag.
