This isn't a formal debate so I am not sure what logical fallacies have to do with the conversation at hand.
A thread was made asking for a team to participate. A person expressed interest, had no problem forming a team. Forming a team actually takes more time than posting a roster and its subsequent changes. Communication is needed and thus a team leaders should be willing to make real time communication. The head of the league should not be expected to post everyone's rosters and cross communicate between the teams. I know of NO LEAGUE set up in such a manner.
The Big Goldrush League is for the most part informal thus their is no need for every participant to sign up and register on the league website (such is the case with many other leagues) but there are some requirements (the team leader signing up and posting on the forums). A team leader that is willing to cause problems with such a minute request will more than likely present other problems as well.

By the way it doesn't have to be a formal debate for you to provide real logic and reasoning instead of reverting to fallacies. What you just said entails this.

I can tell you the exact way every single league I have ever participated in has setup their matches.
Rosters are formed.
Times set.
Dates are played.
Why is this so difficult to setup via pm? Infact I could do this in 2 questions.
Who is on your team?
What time would be best to play at?

To be honest i was excited to play, like everyone else in this group. But after seeing how these people own a server and forums they on their high horse, i dont really want to play anymore.

Trends came here and asked if some people wanted to play. Sk got some people together, and tried to present the list to him. Trends was apparently incapable of handling the grueling task of hitting ctrl+c and ctrl+v.
I don't see why this should be a problem.

Unless DF volunteers to host and provide a server, where did you think the matches were going to be held?
I would think causing problems about signing up on forums and then having a team member post the conversation between you and the league admin is more of demonstration of being on a "high horse."

I like how you quote him for something I said. Again you organize a tournament and expect everyone else to do all the work.
I lmao at the post below me.

If its that easy then don't expect the league admin to do something that you guys can do yourself. There are multiple teams in the league and organizing it, is not as simple as cutting and pasting. Any task that can be done by the team leaders SHOULD be done by the team leaders.
By the way, none of the other teams have made an issue of this request.

I can tell you for A FACT that every league I have played in had the requirement of every TEAM MEMBER signing up on the league page.
They also required:
1) Every team member agreeing to the league rules
2) The TEAM LEADERS (Not the admin) communicating time schedules with each other.
3) The TEAM LEADERS making sure their teams showed up or a forfeit would take place by their team.
Congrats, you have added once again to your post count.

because they play goldrush 24/7. they pissed their pants when they heard of a tournament playing goldrush of course they wanted the ball rolling fast.
We thought it was going to be casual and simple.
2-3 games declare a winner and thats it. Shit if i wanted to play competitive i would of gone and sign up for cal-i or some shit, if i knew it was going to be like this i would not have done it.
from trend
Quote:There's a lot of excitement right now surrounding the creation of Big Goldrush League, a new player-run league sanctioning 15 v 15 Goldrush matches. BGL is a fun league run by Goldrush regulars sanctioning matches between Goldrush teams. Gold Diggers, the Circus, and Team Win are all fielding teams in the new league. I'm posting here to announce our joint effort to put together a fourth team strong enough to compete with these clans of pub stars. How do you match pub stars? With Pub Stars, the new fourth clan in Big Goldrush League.

It is casual and simple. You are the only one who has a problem with this requirement.
