Well that's cool and good for you, but I still can't really feel happy about that. I guess I just always thought of Drunken Fool as an asshole and always hated SourceOP and servers with SourceOP. SourceOP is very annoying and I try to avoid servers I know have it, and over a year ago Drunken Fool (the real one, he was in the server playing) personally banned me from all SourceOP servers permanently. Still can't play to this day, over a year later. What did I do so horrible?
I used an exploit which was patched a few months later. Drunken Fool stopped moving and several seconds later I was permanently banned from all SourceOP servers, which I frequented at the time. I don't think it even said I couldn't use in-game exploits in the rules, but maybe it did. Regardless, I should have at least been kicked first and banned if I did it again, which I wouldn't have.
Looking through the server bans to find myself, which I have, I see a lot of people banned for silly things. I believe a server should very rarely have to ban someone, banning as much as SourceOP servers and is completely unnecessary and simply the admins, and again Drunked Fool himself, being quick their power in a very tyrannical way to make themselves feel bigger.
And for that, I'm genuinely displeased Drunken Fool has a job at Valve now. Hope he doesn't shit up any future games, but that's all just my opinion and I respect other opinions. Most of the time.
EDIT also he uses reddit. Fuck that shit, he'll probably try to misuse old 4chan memes in the new Half-Life or something.
