Weird, I always went to medic for guaranteed point-whoring if I wasn't playing demo or heavy too well. I thought it was the easiest way to climb in rank but just too boring to do all the time.

yeah, but that kind of medic is only really good for spawn camping, they generally don't help the game out at all.

This way the stat-whoring medics will actually have incentive to help the game along.

HlstatsX is not used for promoting "more useful" classes. It tries its best to rank players across servers in an objective manner regardless of class.

It is ranking them based on skill, hence people with lesser points getting greater points per kill.

Plus, who is to say that we aren't allowed to use it to promote a more enjoyable experience?

The fact that you didn't get killed more than 6 times means you were whoring, or playing on stacked teams.

put it into perspective:

I am a good medic, usually MVP, and I average about 10-15k per round, this would be about 60 points without assists. Even hell-met's 36000 is only 240 points. Seeing as I get about 600 points per round as a sniper, this is hardly an issue.

also, seeing as hell-met is high up, those six deaths would be 25 points a piece, taking away 150 points, which would take away more then half of those healing points.
