Actually from what I understood it was an advanced-stage of an STD combined with a severe yeast infection and very little photoshop was involved.

When someone refers to a "Blue Waffle," they're not referring to your typical blueberry breakfast-food.
A "waffle" is a slang term for "vagina." And a "Blue Waffle" is a slang term for a severe vaginal infection.
It's basically a slang term for an extremely nasty or severe vaginal infection/STD on the vagina. The infection could cause lesions on the outside of the vagina, as well as bruising, which causes it to look blue in color.

There is no such official "Blue Waffle" disease. If you have seen pictures of it, it's very likely the pictures could have been Photoshopped with added colors. The popular term comes from a shock site on the internet. The site is a pornographic site and uses the picture to lure you in.
