I was just banned for switching teams for a team win, but i switched sides to the losing team to help the losing team fight. I started off on the winning team. Im a good guy on the server, never cause any problems, is this really worth a 17 hour ban?

The "losing team" was buttraping red at the time.
I have good reasons to believe you switched simply to be with your friends.
The only valid reason a player can switch during mid-round is autobalance.

True...i did switch to be with my friends.....but they were losing and the other team (i.e. my friends team) was about to get raped. I can understand the meaning for the ban and i see your point of view...but 17 hours is a little harsh...dont ya think?

I second yabden. Which is rare.... he smells like asss.
We're all long playing (+2 years) contributors to the server. Never have I moaned about an admin decision but this one is silly.
Even if you're right, 17 hours is punitive. Let the guy back in and we can go back to enjoying the server.
Atleast the tsa will give a proper handjob.

OH someone write down the date cause I'm gonna join Volk and Yabden, oh man, maybe I should back out now. But come on it's a holiday weekend, 17 hours is harsh when the man is hold up in a snow storm in the middle of freaking UTAH!
Regardless of whatever butt hurt this admin seems to have, the autobalance avoidance ban is only 5 minutes. (Which I need to bring up again below.) Why is this a 17 hour offense? And who the hell uses 17 hours as ban? Clearly someone who is pulling shit out of his ass.
So please let Yankee back on the server. He's a lot of fun and one of the most honorable and brave men I know. He has never cause any problems and is a friend to everyone. I think the ban is unreasonable and overly harsh to a well-loved player.
------
That being said, the autobalance thing has a glitch. On goldrush a couple of days ago people were mic spamming at the end of a round and it caused an overload and several people got disconnected from the server. 2 of us has just been autobalanced, and then the disconnect, and so when we tried to rejoin we were banned for autobalance avoidance, which wasn't the case, the server buffer was overloaded with the mic spam. Dont' know if there is a way to fix this but it's annoying.

The ban was harsh, just for the simple fact that he switched to the losing team. If he switched to the winning team then the ban is perfectly fine, but the fact that he switched to the losing team and got temp banned for it is harsh. But I have to say, hell-met is still a good admin.
