For the NO BS server, you might as well turn-off VAC. The ZERO admins and turning off spec is a 100% sure death to your servers. If someone comes and asks you to help admin the server and you tell him, "I don't want admins,' that is stupid.
Please change the title from NO BS to ANYTHING GOES.

1) I hope DF is joking.
2) Elvis, look at the post "Taking nominations for admin on 2fort no mods server". Evidently if that was said, someone changed their mind.

Good, I'm glad to see things are starting to turn around for the TF2 servers.
*edit
I didn't see the other thread, my bad. I actually old enough to be your father. Please turn-on spec while you are giving out admin power.

until a time limit on the 2fort 24/7 server is instigated, that server is dead to me.

By time limit do you mean the 180 minute limit that is already there?
Also, spec is disabled to prevent people from going spectator and idling for days.

*cough*
<insert comment about custom anti-idling-noob-kicking code>
You know, I blame Valve for the endless turtle-fests. For whatever reason people play for points. And for most people the best way to lose points slowly is to play safe.
I mean if you really stop to think about it (and as someone who's trying to waste time whilst at work, I am) what do you really get for playing a hard offense?
Think about it for a while. I'll wait.
The short answer is nothing (blah, blah, blah, satisfaction occasionally).
But here's where a tricky server admin can buck the system. Hlstatx is it's own configurable points system. Booya!
Why not review the Hlstatsx configuration and kill 2 birds with one stone?
1) Reward players who PLAY the game and don't *cough* farm gold (!!?)
2) Goto 1 (ha ha, okay maybe tune it so I don't lose 25 points by n00b death)
Profit!
And so on.
(P.S. I'm better then RCR...combined AND ON FIRE.)
Maybe. For the glory! Etc.
