I'm not sure what bios I'm using but all I know is my Mobo is made by Gigabyte

Codes are listed in the manual of the mobo, otherwise get the model number and go to the gigabyte website and download the user manual to look up the beep codes.
Also; duel channel systems require both slots to have RAM to boot I think? Another thing you could try is reset the BIOS via the reset jumper. Otherwise wait for someone else to chime in.

Yeah, the codes can be found somewhere in the documentation included with the mobo.

If you can't find the codes for some reason though, just try to clear the CMOS. The number of times it's helped me in a malfunctioning build is amazing.

Keep in mind a single tone error message from a motherboard that nobody knows the model/vendor from is going to be nearly impossible to identify like that. It could easily be the fact that you only have 1 ram stick put in as Cat-tane mentioned.

I never even knew this was possible.
