Hey everyone,

I'm having huge ping spikes on the valve maps server. My ping goes from a normal 30-55 and then it will shoot up to over 400. This usually happens in areas of heavy player traffic. It doesn't seem to be affecting anyone else. What's strange though is that I don't get these spikes on any other server. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this happening. This sucks for me because I play on this server almost exclusively and I would hate to go anywhere else.

There was an issue with loss, but I believe it has been fixed. If you are still having issues, let me know and I will investigate.

Most of those complaints, though not all, were from a player who someone said was overseas. I was playing on the server at the same time and noticed no more lag than usual.

I didn't notice any lag either, but I heard other people besides just him complaining about it.

I have, on occasion, noticed slight packet loss... not a latency issue at all (I constantly run Net_graph 1 to monitor such occurrences) but I dont have the most reliable connection.

I have noticed it less frequently though so whatever changes you've done seem to be for the better.
