I'm debating whether or not I should get COD4 for the PS3 or the PC. My computer should be able to handle it, but I cry when playing fps' on consoles

I ran into a similar dilemma with Assassin's Creed, sort of.
I couldn't decide whether to get it for the 360 or wait till Feb 12, 2008 for it to be released on PC. But I finally broke down and bought it for the console. lol
I'll probably still get it on the PC though, because it's a pretty sweet game.
As far as COD4 goes, I'm going to wait till I upgrade my PC before I get it.

I need a new computer as well. My P4 and 6800 can barely handle TF2. I can get a better gfx card, but not much better since it has to be AGP. I'm not sure it would help anyways since I think my CPU is what is limiting my FPS.

i just installed COD4 got threw the single player and tryed the multi player, this game has a rediculus amount of commands, unless you have a good 5+ button mouse, you may not want to get it for pc
i like mutiplayer, the gameplay is very fast, and very chaotic, thought most of the players still seem not to know how to actualy play the game, but i must that the because of the level of complexity this game has, there are farless assholes and idiots on here then most other online games i have played
the singleplayer, sucks, the ai of your allies reminds me of a kindergartener, they get in your way during the easy begining of the game, and disapear during the later parts of the game, and the story looks like it was put together in 5 mins, never played COD before but i was expecting a more advanced tactical system, in the end it was as organized as the players on the SOP 32player 24/7 2Fort server

I have a P4 with a 8600 gt and it runs fine... I suggest you just pick up a cheap mobo and new video card (unless you have a 478 slot. then you fail)
