As you've already noticed, please be careful to get the right person, as many cheaters will spoof the name of other players on the server. I use the 'status' console command to view IPs, and compare them after the hacker changes names, but there may be an easier way.

never get any response. Always just hanging there watching the cheater run rampant until there's a votekick. I've captured demo videos of straight hacking and it seems like nothing ever happens. Admins are nowhere to be found and I don't use the contactadmin lightly so when I do, I kind of want to know that the only TF2 server I play on isn't just some garbage pile getting romped on by F2P idiots.

I've only got admin on 2 servers though so it's up to the admins of the 2fort servers to deal with those problems.


I've gotten out of bed at 3 AM before to deal with the texts, so don't say we don't do anything because it isn't true.

If only we had more admins, that would mean more admins around. You know...someone responsible, who plays on the servers regularly, maybe someone who's an admin on the site? I can't think of anyone off the top of my head...hmmm.

So what you're saying is - you're a good admin (I absolutely do not dispute that fact) - so that makes all the admins good?

I strongly believe that there are good admins on SourceOp, just not the ones on 2Fort No Mods. Sorry if I know any of you, but nothing ever happens to anyone who cheats or copys my name, gets me booted and then rinse-repeats with other players.

I'm just gonna buy BF3 if the culture of the server doesn't improve.

Hatorade is mad watch out he's going to scream and yell at you over the mic. But seriously, whenever I use contact admin on the no mods server Ibby does some through a few moments later. More admins can't be a bad thing for the server, it would be nice if someone who played on the server a lot became admin.
