Binding help please - ThisIsMyCareFace - Jun 11, 2010

Hi can somebody please type here what the console command is to bind melee to mouse 4, i remember on my old account i had a bind where all i had to do was press mouse 4 and my melee weapon would automatically come out without the mouse 1 prompt, and no i do not use auto weapon switch and i do not like it. Also, can someone tell me how to fix what i fucked up i typed -bind mouse4 meleetoggle- and it totally fucked up my melee, seems like i am stuck to people when i melee, it's very irritating. Thanks in advance XD

Why do you constantly answer posts you have absolutely nothing to contribute to?

I find you incredibly obnoxious because of that.

Anyway, to answer your question care,

bind "mouse4" "slot3"

I believe that'll solve the problem, I'm fairly crappy at TF2 script commands though, hope this helps.

Snarf Wrote:Because this is something a simple google search could easily have fixed? Either way your response was so late that he has probably already fixed this. Also as is you failed to teach him HOW to do this for himself so he won't have to ask again. AKA self reliance.

How do I bind so and so to so and so? binding goes this way. "Bind <key> <command>. Let's say you want taunt on mouse1 for some assed reason, type bind g in console. This will tell you what the name of the command for whatever you have binded to g is. Knowing this you can then do "Bind mouse1 taunt".

Well wrong again. If you actually played with careface you'd know him a lot better, he definitely knows how to bind keys already, he was merely looking for the specific command. Nice try, though.

Yes I must say. Whenever someone asks something here, they usually get..... well...... either no answer at all or just some joke..... Please dont be offended but thats not such a nice way to welcome or help someone...... I mean you as "old and experienced" people, should do it in a better way. And don't ask me what I mean with good, or dont make a joke out of this... This is a bit of a serious thing. I mean aren't they supposed to go here and feel like they can get help and feel better?

Thank you.

Because this thread needed another round of late to the punch.
Come on people I will write you a checklist.
1. Was the conversation in the thread complete?
2. How long ago was the last post?
3. A week has passed Do you really think anyone would not have found this answer within 7 days?

ignore snarf guys, he's just a stupid unhelpful faggot

pretty much as wombraider said, would you have preferred he make a new thread about it? Possibly, but its likely hes confronting certain people already taking part in this thread with the previous entries as his example.

Talking about the previous entries in the thread merit his posting being here, and abit over a week is hardly necroing. Youre not the messageboard police snarf. Sit on a tack and let all your hot air out.

*edit*
Oh, and noticing you like to edit out content of your posts, which is quite a faux pas, we're talking about your post which says
