Problems Connecting to Servers. -

Hey there, new user to the sourceop forums, having a problem trying to connect to Servers hosted by Sourceop.
Recently my friends had joined your servers, playing things like Prop hunt and other mods on the servers listed by sourceop. A few days ago they tried to invite me to the game on the server's hosted by you and when I try to connect to the server it says that the server is not responding.
I tried a few things to make sure it wasn't a problem on my end, so I tried to join other servers and was able to connect perfectly fine to all the servers. The server I have been trying to join for the past 2 days is sourceop.com TF2 prophunt servers IP: "74.55.49.244:27015".
My friends tried to invite me via the Steam's Friend list invite to game feature and I got the same Server is not responding message. I tried to connect through the TF2 console command and still got an Error message when trying to join.

Perhaps the server was full?

I asked them that when they tried to invite me, to make sure the server wasn't full. They said the servers were not full when they were telling me about the server. They looked at the scoreboard and the servers size limit and said there was plenty of room for at least 10 more players when they tried to invite me.

There could have been other players in spectator mode or waiting to play. Its not listed in the scoreboard on the top, but sort of on the bottom., and your friends may have missed that.

True, that could be a possibility. But usually when a server is full it'll show you everyone whose in the game but also say that server is full. Unless steam has updated where it only says server is not responding now, but I remember that even if the server was full, it would still show a whole list of people in game who were playing. Plus the Join game button would be grayed out.
I did however try to join again a few times more during the past few hours and still unable to join server because it'll pop up the error message "Server Not Responding" I'll wait a bit longer to see if I'll be able to join in a bit. If not I'll pop into the forums and post here again after I ask my friends to check to see if the server is too full and see whose spectating.

Hmmm, have you tried clicking on refresh when it says server not responding? Its worked for me when I've sometimes seen that message.

I have actually tried that, I tried to refresh the server list, about 3 times and it still would continue to pop up the message "Server is Not Responding" I tried to restart steam and see if that would help. It still popped up as the Server is Not Responding. So I tried to restart my internet, turn off the modem to see if maybe I was having Connection lag. Still got Server not Responding as well.
I'm running on a 10MB connection so I don't have bad lag issues, and I have my router to have the ports open for HL2, TF2, and Steam so that it runs cleaner as well. But I'm still getting the same error.

Steam just does that. Just like if i have my steam on too long and i try to startup tf2 i get the "steam beta must be running to make use of find servers".(fyi my computer is rarely turned off)

Hmm.. Well that's true Steam does tend to do that quite a lot it gives strange errors and stuff like that to me at times, though I turn my pc off every night before I head to bed.
And to Ibby, I just tried to join the server again and it's still giving me a "Server is Not Responding" And My friend just said that there's no one on the Spectator mode at the moment and there's only 9 vs 9 at the moment with the limit being 32 people. It's still not letting me join server.

Obviously if others are able to join and play then it's a problem on your end.
