I saved 60$ on electricity by turning my computer off and not idling to get worthless vanity items.
Where is your victory now?

The gaming computer uses about 500watts wile playing a video game. Every two hours you idle it costs about one kilowatt hour, and the average household's energy cost is 15 cents per kilowatt hour (at least in america, who has about the lowest energy cost per Kw/H)
The average idler spends about 250 hours every two weeks idling, coming up to about 75$ per month increase in energy costs.

A computer playing TF2 will generally use about 400-500 watts.
Unless you specifically spent money one current-gen low-end parts.
