What's your opinion on these two new maps? They seem underplayed unfortunately.

I've finally had a chance to play Gorge earlier today. I think it makes a pretty good map. I joined as spy, lots of open space. Good hiding spots.
Doublecross looks cool, hopefully I can catch that in the rotation. I wish DF would get rid of some of the other shit maps like 2fort so the new maps can get more exposure.
I mean fuck sakes, 2fort has a 24/7 server...

they are both relatively fun maps to play. Gorge gets a little spammy at certain chokepoints but its usually pretty easy to push past with ubers.

I like these maps. They're certainly better than some of the poor maps we've been getting. You know... Junction, Harvest, Viaduct, Egypt, SAWMILL IN ANY FORM OTHER THAN KOTH.

harvest is great, all sawmill sucks, viaduct sucks. junction and egypt can be great for laughs.

Oh yeah I forgot junction when I said hydro. I like Sawmill, koth in particular but the geometry of sawmill is good for battles even if people turtle the intel on CTF). I also really like viaduct and harvest (LOVE harvest). Egypt can be good but is just kind of so-so, I don't vote to skip it at least.
But I do vote to skip gorge and doublecross, even despite their newness factor. I hate the geometry of the maps, nevermind for the objectives, just for the sake of fun combat.
