I love sprays. I really do. And so, it is a source of great frustration when I cannot get the damn thing to work properly.

1. I have a proper .vtf Spray that has been uploaded and does work.

2. I use m0re's fps autoexec file, mainly because my laptop is only halfway decent and I'd rather not lag than see all the pretty effects.

3. I did remove the lines in the autoexec about disallowing sprays.



What happens is, I'll go into a map and spray my spray, and it will show up on the wall for a second, and then disappear. Other people's sprays will show up and operate as normally. I expect my spray isn't disappearing for everyone, just me, but I'd like to know why and how to fix it if anyone knows.

I've had the same spray since TF2 came out, and I've seen this problem happen to me sometimes. I don't know a solution.

You can't use sprays in SV_PURE.

You're right about sv_pure 2, but sprays work fine in sv_pure 1.

Valve maps 1 is pure 1. Sprays work.
