First of all, I'd like to say hi, thanks for running all these awesome team fortress servers, all in my favourites.
That out of the way, I play mostly spy, and seeing as how many of the people I see on your servers I end up playing with a bit, and they seem quite good, I was hoping for some tips. I have most basics down, map knowledge, where the ammo boxes are(I use standard Invisibility watch alot, and Cloak and Dagger), how to stab engies and sap their sentries without dieing, telefragging, etc. Just some general knowledge and tips to improve my game.
Also one question, I was playing spy earlier today on badlands cp, and one of my team mates was getting up me for disguising as a friendly pyro. I use the friendly disguises while amongst my team and to cross ground where an enemy isn't likely to be(ie: heading away from my team). I then promptly cloak, change disguise, get behind them and attempt to get a few kills and saps. Is this not the intended use of the friendly disguise or am I doing something wrong? (I also try and use it in arena, to lure enemies around corners thinking they are up against a weak in combat class before stabbing). I just hate seeing "teammates" walking amongst the other team, or even worse, inside/outside the spawn area during setup. Thanks for all your help.

That is the perfect use for using friendly disguises and I'm surprised you came up with that on your own. You should've kicked the person that was harassing you in the balls.

A disguise is a sentrygun shield, not a tool supposed to fool anyone
because it doesn't, and it wastes your valuable time trying to act all sneaky and shit
and never use CnD

Clearly you didn't even read what he wrote, if you don't see the use for friendly disguises then you are an idiot.

Hell-met speaks a lot of truth, imo - you have to play to the LCD of your opponents as I spy, I think. Assuming the people on the other team are all smart will just get you killed by [4/100] or whatever as you cleverly reload your demoman disguise while backing into the opposing team.
I usually play medic, and there are a few things that really get to me as that class (and I'd imagine, most others):
-Learn when and how to use your gun.
-Learn how to effectively run away (this is where a lot of your cunning should go, I think).
-Learn what targets to stab and not to stab dictated by your capabilities.
-If you want to be a medic killer, being a great scout is way more dangerous to me than being a great spy.
-That guy getting a kritz? he's probably an idiot and standing still, stab him - medics often hesitate to stab you in the facey face as you pass if they have to waste 1/3rd of a kritz to do it, and it will normally be enough time to get a solid patient kill and save your team a lot of grief.
-Stab bad medics, but if they seem really aware, just avoid them unless you know you're skilled enough to handle the situation. This is for your team, not you - medics love spies who are below their skill level, as it means 50% of an ubercharge in 3 seconds, a lot of the time.
-If you aren't cloaked, someone is looking at you, and knows you are a spy.
/Like, 1h as spy and I'm horrible at it - these are the effects that tend to concern me as a medic, though.
Oh, and *** (not 100% sure it was him, can't remember) making fun of you last night was just stupid. While disguising as friendly until you're ready to cross lines may not have a good return on the effort, it's certainly a good play strategy, academically, at least.

actually I remember an old tactic of mine with friendly disguise
In CTF -> Friendly medic disguise in your intel room, bonus points now that you can actually have the medigun out.
wait for enemy spies to come, they'll ask for med, then you circle strafe or stairstab them.
