Problem with the panel - khjb007 - Jan 14, 2006

I'm using linksys BEFSR41 ver.4.

when I connect to the panel, it only works if I use the external router

static ip address. It's 192.168.1.100.

but if I try to connect to the panel with my internal ip address,

it says there's no host to connect or something.

When I connect to the panel using the external ip address, I can only

see activities on rcon. showmap fucktion and showplayer function

don't work. Is this because I somehow dowloaded an outdated sourceop?

And how can I connect to the panel using my interal ip address?

Is that even possible? I don't think I should use external ip address

to connect to the panel since that's the router's default ip address...

help me!

Well if your hosting it you should be able to login using your internal IP, but it sounds like your router doesn't support doing that. So I dunno.

thanks, Pwner_Express for the info
but unfortunately, I'm not that dumb...
I know what port fowarding is and enabled sourceop port
but it still didn't work.
I tried to connect to the panel on the same computer
I use to run the server. well for some reason,
that was the problem and now I don't have
any problem with the panel so happy ending.
