Hello Everyone, this is my first post to the forums
but to the real matter at hand I don't know if many of you know me and some of you have played with me and noticed when ever I speak my mic is really crappy.
I want to know how to fix it. I just bought this sexy 60$ mic and I want to know how it's failing me.
It works fine on vent but not for Valve games.
Here's a link of the mic

It could be your audio drivers to be honest, i had a similar problem with my laptop, sound quality was crystal clear in vent and other programs such as Windows Sound Recorder and all but when playing on any source games it would sound like i was partically muffled and like i have a lisp when i don't, i guess it has to do with the way their 3rd party software utilizes your mic and sound drivers or somethin. Soon as a switched to vista and with new vista drivers my voice is still clear in vent as well as in-game now. This is just from my experience.
BTW, long beach, nice, i live near you, i'm here up in Watts.

Hmm. one thing different from my old one is that it isn't a usb Mic it's just that "Pink" Cable one. so yeah my sound drives could be the prob
and yeah nothing like living near a very polluted beach :|
