Need help from experts in these.
I bought a flash file that I want to use on my website. Problem is the guy that made it just says over and over again "It's easy install".
He doesn't speak very good English so the communication barrier is frustrating. We've sent seven e-mails to each other and every time he just tells me "It's easy install just publish".
I've pretty much assumed this guy's going to be of no help.
Basically the files come with 4 different XML settings (you pick one). Then you load or publish the flash file in Flash X. Getting it all to work is a bit much.
Here's the link to the project -
Thumb Banner Rotater Black
As you'll see he even says in his FAQ how easy the damn thing is to install.
Anyway if anyone knows Flash, XML and DW I could use some help.

The best way to get help is to troll

I having only a basic/frustrated relationship with Flash...but what are you using to load the animation onto your page?
(also, my ex is a flash wizard. I'll call her and try to get you two in contact).

Just Insert -> Media -> SWF file into a Div tag

I could be mistaken, but I don't believe any XHTML tag nor CSS style can load an .swf file. At the moment , it usually it has to be through another scripting language like Javascript. Maybe .swf support will come into play in the new CSS or XHTML.
You might search through
http://www.w3.org to see if there are any official standards concerning the <div> tag and flash files.
Also, I don't use Dreamweaver or any other WYSIWYG, I do everything text-based, so there might be a method that plugs a flash file into a page via a scripting language, but I don't know it.
My ex is currently en route to Seattle, so I don't know if she will have PC access anytime soon.
