Hacker in SourceOP Arena - zephyr - Apr 19, 2009

The Arena Server is plagued by an individual by the name of Hamburglar, though at first I didn't believe that he was hacking (due to the incessant rambling of a certain Panda). But after spectating and recording a demo myself, I truely believe he cheats in one form or another.

Sped up at "legit" parts, and slowed down at parts I believe is the cheating going on. As you see, he shoots cloaked spies then quickly ignores what he just did, I believe he shot the spy because of twitch reflex and quickly realizing his mistake, stopped and acted like nothing happened. The first time he does it you can clearly see the cloaked spy, other times you might have to look more carefully.

You also see him prepare a shot at the most BS times and places, almost as if he knows they are there.

Someone finally took the initiative to do something about him. I am that certain panda that accuses him in game all the time, to the reply of "heh."

May I also point out that Zeph and I are not the only ones that have accused him, and many people in game, such as a _Doc_ and others have also accused him. As a player who spends most of his TF2 time in that server, I can tell you that this Hamburglar has pulled off a lot more crazy things than what is shown in this video.

If he is not banned outright even though the video mentioned above has proof of him shooting, clearly, cloaked spies, and then not so clearly knowing where everyone is, then an admin should, at the least, spectate him in silent to see, as when he knows hes being watched, (as i've stupidly told him I shall), he simply acts normal again, and then starts sucking, and the change in his gameplay is proof enough also.

I've added him to the list for being able to see cloaked spies. Adder, what's so special at 2:17. Doesn't really look like hacking to me, maybe quick reflexes.

Nothing really happens at 2:17, maybe he meant 2:07 when hes clearly following a player behind that rock, and then knows where the heads going to pop up.
Oh and what does being on that list mean drunken?

Edit: at 2:17 if u watched the start of the map earlier there was no way he knew an enemy would be coming from that area, especially as he spent the whole beginning of the round staring at the giant rock ahead, (unless he can see behind the rock, using the wallhack skin that so infamously plagues non sv_pure servers.)

Probably a wall hack. Certainly not an aimbot. You can chalk a few things up to good prediction and sniping a ton in that clip but knowing the location of the med that was going to come through the trees or the sniper behind the plank is shady.

What I meant was I added him to the ban list for being able to see cloaked spies, not that I added him to a special list of people who can see cloaked spies.

What a coincidence , I was just about to start a thread about hamburglar myself. After speccing him a few times, and him getting suspiciously defensive after jokingly remarking that he was hacking, I was sure something was up. Good job on the video zeph, and thanks for banning him drunken. However, I noticed his hlstatx are still up as he's still in the top 10 in the arena server.
