i've just made it through an entire group of red pyros as a blue spy, i'm rounding the corner to go and uncloak, when i spot a red engineer.
suddenly
BAM
LAGFEST
possibly 1-2 frames every 5-6 seconds, ping spikes, and suddenly the screen is filled with flames.
valve, i don't konw what you did to tf2 in the few days i was away this weekend, but you've seriously fucked up the game for me. thanks.

I have been experiencing something that feels like cpu lag here the last few days, but my fps doesn't drop.
I've been hearing a lot of people with similar issues. I wonder what they did.
Maybe something to do with the changes they made for multicore rendering? I don't know.

same....felt like lag when i was running it yesterday and earlier today, but i still got between 40-60 fps
tonight, though, i was getting 30 in the spawn, and 30 outside until i actually needed good fps, then it always dropped

crage - Hell-met - Mar 27, 2009

Thats because source in 2009 still cant handle multicores properly

crage - Biggs - Mar 27, 2009

Problem is, I don't have a multicore processor and I haven't made any changes whatsoever to bring this about. This just arose around the time of the multicore update. So I'm wondering what else they changed. :|
