Votekicks (where players in the server vote to kick you) aren't perm bans, just a few minutes (I think AFK isn't even a temp ban).
You can see all the current actual bans on the menu item to the left called 'Server Bans'. Only three from today, all by Butane on PropHunt. So you're fine. And I dont know what your mic sounds like, but make sure it isn't doing some weird feedback thing by going through the Steam voice test thing.
tl;dr - you're not banned.
