You need to check into it. I'm down if you don't care or rather not just deal with the hassle of the upgrade. But "doubtiung" isn't a solid reply. From what I understand they have a great tech team. Send them an email and ask them if the "old forum software " can handle the application and if so have it installed.

Technically this version was released in 2001, thus 21st century.
But before posting an idea, please review the other threads in the idea section, especially when your idea hinges on using a more up-to-date version of the forum software. You'll see multiple threads requesting updates to that software only to be told 'it's in process, please be patient'.
And yes, this is an idea forum, please feel free to suggest things. But be aware when your idea is rebuffed by a logical argument (e.g. the forum software not supporting it) countering the argument through research and diligence is a better idea than 'just email them'. Lazy responses get lazier responses (e.g. get a better phone, seriously, one from the 21st century). You're lucky Sky even went to the trouble to show that your idea while sound is unfeasible. Shitting on his actual legwork is as lame an act as your response to it.
So your suggestion is noted, appreciated and will be considered when the forums undergo an upgrade if/when that happens.

So...You come out with "get a better phone" but you expect me to do all the legwork to see if an app that thousands of forums are using can work here?

Your reply was just to type. No one in their right mind would expect me to scour a half dozen idea threads to read how the forum software is dated.

My suggestion would be to close down the idea forum until you get this forum on a more reasonable piece of software. Any "idea" worth its salt will need you to be on a better forum software. I mean you indicated as much when you asked me to read other threads that the forum software was the issue.

Next time let Skyrider give the replies. Your not equipped to simply reply without a sarcasm.
