Thanks to UTC and their efforts/support against sharking! There will soon be no more shark infested waters. Fishes can now swim in peace. Big Grin

What the hell is sharking? Is that like hustling in pool?

Yes, actually.
Except the game is trading, and the skill of the hustler is knowing what the price is. But the convincing part of "oh, I'm not very good at this game" is the same, except involves items instead of workds (e.g. "Wow, all i have are 100 of these normal hats I can give you for that burning towering pile of earbuds" "Ha - deal sucker")
And tf2 item trading is like a pool hall with a sign up that says "Don't hustle the noobs".
Scamming would be agreeing to play a game, they put their money down, you grab it and run.

So what is the problem again?

Not everyone went to the bar to play pool. Sharks focus on those people.

The issue is that inexperienced people lucky enough to unbox a valuable unusual, are being taken advantage of, and in most cases it is for a potentially large sum of money Smile

Or what TheDopp said above.
