I like how people claim you are picking on f2p pubs, when picking on pubs in general is an easy task.
The average skill level was pretty bad before the f2p update even came out.

From a psychological standpoint winning DOES tend to make one more aggressive towards the losing party. It's safe just to discount people who pick on people who are new as unable to function with civility.
