Okay, I am going to necro this to say that Starcraft 2 is an insult to this genre.
It blatantly belongs five to ten years in the past.
Company of heroes and Dawn of war 2 have been here, yet Blizzard takes the genre backwards.
I would call this the Halo of RTS's if Halo Wars wasn't actually better than this.
I was going write a full rant but Starcraft crushed my spirit.

also zerg is dull, boring, and weak, hopefully blizz will patch them up a bit. shouldnt have released the game with them in their current state

I would argue that the zerg aren't weak, they just require more micro to be effective then say, a terran MMM ball which can just A-move around.

Zerg ARE weak, honestly the only unit we own that doesn't require 24/7 babysitting is the ultralisk and the broodlords. Along with having some of the most difficult macro in the game combined with terran having the easiest macro and micro in the game. Protoss are the only races that are actually well balanced. I'm not saying zerg is incredibly underpowered it's just so much fucking micro and macro. And this isn't including the fact that zerg have to be very well scouted to succeed against good players.
