Yeah i agree the server has been dropping down..but i think its a combination of things, ie; characters that would draw people not going on as much *cough*Gov*cough* and i know with me i generally join where my friends are, and if my friends aren't on i join a server more suited to me (or my ping rather) The main thing for me with tf2 is the social aspect/team work ...when you've a team of no one who communicates it kinda makes it seem less team oriented.
That and i hear Hell-met uses uber hax.
