When it's a choice between 2fort and sawmill, there are no winners.

2fort is fun to play on, besides I thought everyone was over the whole "lolz2fort" thing?

Exactly. It's only a shitty map if you take the game too seriously.

That makes no sense... how does the level of seriousness decide whether or not you enjoy a map? The only thing I do on 2fort is heavy box and taunt.(maybe that's too serious)

If you play 2fort wanting at all costs to win, you're gonna be disappointed, because the map favors stalemates. It's better not to take winning too seriously, and do stuff like heavy boxing.

Not true. It doesn't favor stalemates. Its an extremely difficult map in that their are a ton of choke points but if you have an excellent team working together with the right classes then you can win. Also, people must be willing to sacrifice in order to touch the intel.
The main reason why stalemates occur is because of the volume of solo fortress 2 players.
The All Maps server does tend to clear out fast when a CTF map comes around in the rotation (not just 2fort).

Yes you're just confirming what I'm saying. In order to win at 2fort, you need a coordinated, balanced team. Otherwise, both teams spam engies and you can never even touch the flag. It is VERY RARE that you get a coordinated, balanced team in a 32 player public server; hence, 2fort often results in stalemates. On maps like granary and even turbine, it's a lot easier to capture the last point/the flag.
