smaller, centered font, and a bigger picture
also, take out most of the brown in that filter. you want a fairly white background, and then add to that. don't start with a colored background

Maybe make it so the demoman doesn't look like it was pasted in there from mspaint >_>

Yea, you have to feather in images that are cut off like that.

For example, use a somewhat large eraser tool (90ish pixels) with 0% hardness and take off that solid edge.

And I would tune down the opacity on your text layers just a tad so that it somewhat blends with the poster.

Ok. Il start from the original background and get a new picture of the demoman. thank you for the advice though.

EDIT* I tried again, I encountered problems whilst feathering because I wasn't able to change the hardness of the eraser tool because as far as I can tell you cant do that in the program I was using (Paint.NET). I downloaded a feathering plugin and also added a blured black outline but im not entirely sure it worked that well.

Ive tried gimp before but I could never get the hang off it. Ive used photoshop as well but my PC died just last week and I had to go off of a clean install so I haven't gotten round to re-installing it yet.

that looks a lot better, btw.

and i recommend getting ps8 again or downloading GIMP. the GIMP works nearly identically to ps8 for projects like this
