You poor lost soul.

i played about 3500 hours of tf2 on a server with no voting, so I guess my perspective is a bit different.

I've only ever played on SourceOP so my perspective is a bit sheltered (and before TF2 it was nothing but Wolf:ET for years and years on the same servers).

Lol Dopp, I played a ton of Wolf ET before TF2 too. I played on the server SMP, and later on the SMP trickjump server 999. For ET pro servers I stuck to SNL and ET box.

Fuck yeah trick jumping. I loved the strafe jumping the Q3 engine allowed for. I was in a small clan (the now dead *UGZ* clan) that competed in several leagues, and had 4 servers at the peak.
I always wanted to buy an ET server and convince DF/whoever to let me use the SourceOP name just so I could go back and play again (since all the servers out now suck, badly)
Thats mostly why I suggested the changes at the start of the thread. I'm used to large communities with regulars and a nice place to play, and things that "harsh the mellow" aren't always dealt with in a timely fashion.
