Everyone, you must forgive Hell-met. He does not understand the meaning of the word 'teamwork'.

He's...uhm...yeah...slow

With the recent update, an inordinate amount of people seems to be playing spy/sniper. As such, when I do play, very few people(if any) play medic. I usually fill the role for a short while. I will grudgingly admit that Half-Duplex in the night in question was right. Taking a page from his book, for the time being, I just refrain from healing spies/snipers.

Admittedly, it is turning into an endless source of amusement watching a spy/sniper on fire jumping up and down in front of me, waving their arms and calling for a medic.

I've never played with Duplex but have with Tarquin and he was a sexist, mean, jerk and I try my hardest not to be on the same team as him.. He's one i've talked to you about IP.

Rofl, I was on a team on the goldrush server last night and we had 5 snipers, so I went medic and said I wasn't going to heal said snipers. Probably like 3 of them died in front of me screaming for medic before they got the message.

Big Grin I did a double uber on a couple snipers lastnight!

I uber spies all the time. Occasionally I win the lottery and get an uber crab. Snipers... meh, as long as I don't have to run to some god forsaken corner of the map to heal them I'll give 'em a little buff.

Once, I managed to get an enemy medic to uber me, ran to my team with him then spycrabed. Thats one of my happiest tf2 memories.

Rostov and Adder,

Not healing spies and snipers just because they're spies and snipers is kind of silly. You don't like that there are too many newbs playing "classes that aren't useful" so you're trying some kind of negative reinforcement by not healing them. Duplex is a huge douche but at least he's consistent in his douchiness. Do you plan on not healing bottom-of-the-scoreboard soldiers and demos when their update comes out? I highly doubt it.

"But soldiers and demos are front line classes." Even crappy spies and snipers can do an equal amount of damage. Likewise, letting spies and snipers die is a two way street and arguably medics get the ass end of it. They can still shoot at people attacking you (or not shoot) and if there's a medic that refuses to heal me, personally, I'd be more than happy to dance around him with a jar of piss while he burns to death.
