I personally wouldn't mind losing the sticky launcher for a shotgun with mild to moderate explosive rounds. I only use the sticky launcher if I am out of primary ammo or killing sentries.

TF2 helping L4D - Hell-met - Sep 19, 2008

It's the other way around for 80% of the demomen, they use stickies until it's out of ammo then they use GL.

I find lobbing grenades and getting direct hits more satisfying than spamming four stickies and madly clicking alt fire. \0= Besides, critnades do an insane amount of splash and typically do more damage than the glowing crit sticky lying on the ground that everyone avoids.

It resists admin_ignite. Also, if another pyro flames you, you won't walk away on fire slowly dieing.

TF2 helping L4D - Hell-met - Sep 19, 2008

Yeah but let's be honest there, you will survive like 0.5 second more if the pyro is actively attacking you as if he was to anyone else.

Which is stupid btw, Flamethrowers should take much more longer to kill pyros.

If you get puffed by a enemy pyro without engaging combat, you're doing it wrong!

TF2 helping L4D - avy - Sep 19, 2008

Love 'em or hate 'em, pyros do what they do... set the world ablaze. Whether it be through a wall, across the bridge on 2fort or a .047 second instaopcritdeathfrombuttrape backburner to the face kill.

pity that people on fire can't ignite others by touching/running through them....

As for my guess: Wordplay aside it's likely to be demoman who gets the next unlockible group, I can't see valve revisiting his graphical roots on a whim.

TF2 helping L4D - Drunken F00l - Sep 19, 2008

I'm not either. Probably won't get it. Dno though. Sounds like there is no dedicated server for it either, just lobby games.
